A CHARMING WINE BAR & BISTRO IS NOW OPEN IN BISHOP ARTS!
Another day, another opening! It’s that time of year again: when a slew of restaurant openings happen at the end of the current year, and give us a whole list of places to try to kick off the new one!
And we are excited to announce that next up is the adorable
@littlebluedallas !
A ROMANTIC & INTIMATE SPACE
Little Blue hails from the owner of
@fountboardandtable , the coziest coffee shop in the heart of Uptown. And owner Olivia has once again created a charming spot out of an old home, but this time, swapped the coffee for wine, sandwiches for French bistro dishes, and those cozy green walls for a sexier blue.
SMALL BUT MIGHTY MENU
Olivia focuses on farm-to-table, sustainable or local products from small producers and brings that same ethos to Little Blue, from Foxley Ricer oysters to Oak Cliff baguettes, Thomasville tomme and Arbequina olive oil. The French-inspired menu of ten items, plus an Italian cheesecake to round out your meal, features a delicious escargot, an Argentinian beef cheek pot roast and other bistro-forward dishes.
SUSTAINABLE YET AFFORDABLE WINE PROGRAM
The wine program at Little Blue also focuses on showcasing wine from small production vineyards “prioritizing ethical and sustainable practices.” Glasses range from $14-$18, and bottles are all under $70, at least on the menu available the night we attended. So the wines are also affordable!
For cocktails, there isn’t a menu but the bartender is excellent and made a very impressive Negroni.
EXPANSIVE BACKYARD
While the inside is warm, cozy and romantic…perfect for winter, we are also looking forward to the backyard that’s maybe bigger than the house itself!
MORE DETAILS
Find Little Blue at 320 W Eighth St, open Wednesday-Sunday from 5pm-12am. You can make reservations on Resy!
PS yes this one is different from the other new bistro in Bishop Arts (Pillar) we announced last week, but just down the street! And we have heard of even more BA spots coming soon too!
